Easter Fun at Burford Library - OUR CHEERY WINNER!

Over the Easter half-term break, young readers and families enjoyed a very special Alice the Palace Postwoman Animal Quest at Burford Library, and what a wonderful adventure it turned out to be!

Visitors to the library were invited to help Alice track down all of the hidden animal characters dotted around the library shelves and corners. The quest brought lots of smiles, excitement, and plenty of detective work from enthusiastic young explorers eager to spot every animal from Alice’s world.

We were delighted to have a winner of the Easter Character Quest - Sam, aged 5, who was all smiles when he received his prize: a copy of the second book in the Alice series, Alfie the Post Associate. Well done Sam!

A huge thank you goes to Carol Amy Holdcroft, Library Manager at Burford Library, for hosting the event throughout the Easter holidays and helping create such a warm and welcoming experience for local families and visitors alike. It was wonderful to see so many children engaging with the story world in such an interactive and imaginative way. 💌
